Kao Rou Wan is a national super restaurant and there is a headquartered restaurant and 2 branches. The headquartered restaurant was established in October 2004 at No. 58, Nanlishilu in Xicheng District. It covers over 4,000 square meters and can accommodate over 800 people at the same time. The bright and wide lobby, elegant private rooms and antique corridor feature a traditional Muslim environment. The first floor mainly serves traditional barbecue and a buffet barbecue and the second and third floors are banquet halls and bulk seats, which are used to receive parties and feasts.

Kao Rou Wan became more experienced and expanded rapidly during years of development. In 2006, the skills of grilling beef of Kao Rou Wan and roasting mutton of Kao Rou Ji was recognized as Non-Tangible Cultural Heritage of Beijing. Kao Rou Wan was also reassigned as a “Time-Honored Brand in China”.
