Typical of a modern garden, southern Rendinghu Park is dotted with lawns, water landscapes, sculptures, pergolas and landscape walls, creating a garden scenery brimming with charm of European formal-style courtyards. Yet, being an epitome of minimal art, northern Rendinghu Park is interspersed with open forests, lawns, still waters, decorative plaza and modern sculptures, creating a garden space full of modern feelings.
Seen in a whole, it is ana European-style garden. Graced by open forests, lawns, fountains and water landscapes, it is dotted with European-style sculptures. And the World Garden History Scenic Spot opens a window to the western gardens. When you step into the south gate, what first glides into view is the dignified and colorful peristyle. At its center stands a fountain called “A Woman out of Bath”. Walking along, you would catch a glimpse of a white marble fresco unfolding the European-style garden history in front of you. And standing here would give you a bird’s view of gorgeous gardens like the fantastic Garden of Eden, the gardens of Ancient Rome, Egypt, Babylon and Islam, the Gardens of Versailles, Italian terrace garden and Chinese classic garden, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.
