Huangcaoliang, Lingshan Mountain, Baihuang Mountain and Miaofeng Mountain stand close to one another, and standing on Huangcaoliang, each tourist can see the other three mountains. The altitude of the main peak is 1,773 meters high and is one of the highest peaks in the southwestern areas of Beijing. Climbing in this area must be of an interesting sport. In addition, it is a good spot to watch the sunrise. The specialty of this scenic area is it has been less influenced by human activities.
Fragrant Flowers in Three Seasons
In spring, travelers can view flowers such as mountain peach flowers, mountain apricot flowers and February orchids. In summer, there are lilac, cuckoo flowers, wild roses, Lilium pumilum, gold flowers, hydrangea and so on; and in autumn, common China-aster, red bean trees and chrysanthemums.
The Kingdom of Wildlife
Huangcaoliang is indeed a kingdom of wildlife. Flying birds rustle in the woods and over the tall grass, and other animals search food in the dense woods.
