Located at No. 9 Fuxing Road in Beijing, the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution is the first comprehensive military museum in China. The exhibition building was built in October 1958, completed in July 1959, and officially opened on August 1, 1960. It is one of the top ten buildings in the capital dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the National Day.
The Central Television and Radio Tower is located in the middle of Beijing's West Third Ring Road, east of the beautiful Yuyuantan Park and the famous Diaoyutai, State Guesthouse, south of the West Railway Station, and north of the tourist attraction Summer Palace. Covering an area of 15.4 hectares, the tower is 405 meters high and is a landmark in western Beijing.
Located on the extension of Beijing's West Chang'an Street, the China Millennium Monument is to the west of the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, with Yuyuantan Park to the north and the Beijing West Railway Station to the south. Facing south from north, it covers an area of 4.5 hectares, with a total construction area of 35,000 square meters. It consists of the main structure, the bronze canal, the sacred fire square, the crossing bridge, the century hall and the art hall.
The Summer Palace is a royal garden in China during the Qing Dynasty, formerly known as the Qing Yi Garden. It is located in the western suburbs of Beijing, 15 kilometers from the downtown area and adjacent to the Yuanmingyuan. The whole garden covers an area of 3.009 square kilometers (of which the Summer Palace World Heritage Area is 2.97 square kilometers), with the water surface accounting for about three-quarters of the area.
