Beijing Back Garden Scenic Spot lies at the junction of Taihang Mountain and Yanshan Mountain, located in the northwest of Zhongguancun, 29 kilometers away from the downtown Beijing. Covering about 4.6 million square meters, it peaks at 880 meters in altitude. Beijing Back Garden consists of 36 attractions and over 500 spots including Beijing Baihujian Forest Park, Back Garden Inn, Primeval Forest Bathing Beach, Yanan Cave Giant Residence, Shooting Range, Thousand-year-old Ancient Town, Wild Survival Village, Ski Resort, Monkey Mountain, Film and Television Base etc. Various peaks are well-proportioned and spread for a wide area. Baihujian is considered “Mysterious Mountain with Thousands of Peaks” and is most known as one of “Eight Scenes of Yanping”.
