Ya’er Hutong is a long hutong in Xicheng District. In Ming Dynasty, it was namend Guanghuasi Street, while in Qing Dynasty it was false named Ya’er Hutong for its location in the north edge of Houhai.

Guanghua Temple is located at No.31 of Ya'er Hutong. It was constructed during the reign of Emperor Wanli of Ming Dynasty. It is one of best-preserve temples in Beijing and still in use. Some important Buddhism activities are held here.
