Read MoreCrab Island Green Ecological Resort is located in Chaoyang District, Beijing, covering a total area of 3,300 mu. It integrates planting, breeding, tourism, vacation, leisure and ecological agriculture sightseeing. The resort is characterized by the production and sale of "green food", and takes the catering, entertainment and fitness as the carrier. Its business purpose is to let the guests enjoy a fresh and natural high quality life away from pollution. The resort is the key demonstration unit of Chaoyang District of Beijing to promote the restructuring of agricultural industrialization, and is also the base of Beijing Green Ecological Park designated by the Chinese Society of Environmental Science. The resort features an elegant environment, fresh air and complete equipment. The layout of "store in the front and garden in the back" is unique. The whole park is divided into four blocks: planting park, breeding park, science and technology park and tourism resort park, making it convenient for you to travel and sightseeing to the maximum.
Crab Island Green Ecological Resort has a total area of 2 square kilometers, including 0.2 square kilometers of tourist resort area and 1.8 square kilometers of ecological agricultural tourism area. It adopts the "store in front and garden at the back" type management pattern and the scientific mode of uniting agriculture and tourism. Adopting the concepts of material cycle (rice and crab mixed farming), energy cycle (comprehensive utilization of water resources and waste) and information cycle (industry coordination and integration) of "ecology, environmental protection and sustainable development", it integrates agricultural ecological tourism, organic food production, processing logistics and sales into an independent and perfect closed system. While highlighting the relationship between human and nature, the project has achieved better adjustment of the agricultural industry structure and industrialized operation.
In operation layout, the resort focuses on reflecting the old Beijing rural style. With the ecological tourism environment of "back to nature" and unique "village", "village appearance" characteristics, it puts the modern and comfortable leisure tourism resort hotel in the village landscape with green trees, rice and wheat, animals, crabs and fish. This allows agricultural production and hotel operation, urban civilization and local feeling, development benefit and ecological protection to circulate and develop sustainably in a natural biological chain structure. Guests who come here for leisure can not only experience the fun of eating farming meals, living in a farmhouse, and living a farming life, but can also shop for healthy and safe organic farming food in the "supermarket" of Crab Island. Visitors will also have the opportunity to practice agriculture, get close to nature and animals, and receive environmental protection and science education. Every year, the resort holds "Lotus Festival", "Crab Festival", "Food and Beer Festival", "Chrysanthemum Festival", "Hot Spring Festival", and "Ice Festival" and many other activities.
