Shunyi Olympic Water Park is the competition venue for rowing, kayaking, marathon swimming and Paralympic rowing events of the Beijing Olympic Games. Beijing Shunyi International Flower Port

Beijing Shunyi Hanshiqiao Wetland Scenic Area
Hanshiqiao Wetland Nature Reserve is located in the plain area of east Beijing. The total area is 1,900 hectares, of which the core area is about 3,000 mu. It is the only large reed swamp wetland in the plain area of Beijing. The reserve has recorded 153 species of birds, including two national Class I protected animals, 17 national Class II protected animals and 292 species of wild plants. It is a habitat and transit point for many rare and endangered bird species that migrate here.
Summer Palace
Summer Palace, formerly was the palace and garden of the emperors of the Qing Dynasty. It was originally the Qingyi Garden, the last garden of the Three Mountains and Five Gardens to be built. It was built in 1750 and completed in 1764. It covers an area of 290 hectares, with about three-quarters of the water surface.

Beijing Olympic Park is the main venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games, housing 44% of the Olympic competition venues and most of the supporting facilities for the Games. With an area of 11.59 square kilometers, it is the largest venue complex of any Olympic Games. From north to south, it is divided into the North Zone - Olympic Forest Park, the Central Zone - Olympic Stadium Cluster and the South Zone - Asian Games Stadium Cluster and Olympic Sports Cultural and Business Park.
