Lingjiao Village is located in the west of Miaofengshan Town. When entering Lingjiao Village, you will be attracted by a variety of wall paintings with bright colors. Most of these murals are composed of natural sceneries, animal cartoon images, and they are also artificially added three-dimensional elements which bring immersive experience.
Among folk tourism attractions in Beijing, Guajiayu Folk Village features farmyards and ecological log cabins. The village is surrounded by the Longwang Temple , Peach Blossom Viewing Platform, the statue of Yang Liulang, Yaji Mountain, Laoxiang Peak and other scenic spots.
The ancient village formed in the Ming and Qing dynasties is embosomed in hills. The siheyuan (quadrangle courtyard) houses represent a unique architectural style of houses in mountain village in north China.
Xiayuan Village is not only a residence for artists, but it has a variety of businesses such as B&Bs, bars, art exhibitions, art markets and riding base. To be specific, there are art themed B&Bs, art themed Chinese and Western restaurants, bars and coffee, art themed bookstore, modern dance studio, meditation experience museum and public art exhibition space. In the small square of Xiayuan Village, sculptures created by artists stand and become popular landmarks for visitors.
