All Year RoundHorticulture Town is located in the northwest of Beijing Expo Park and covers an area of 8 hectares, including Beijing Shiyuan Pusen Hotel, Art Center, Master Workshop, Cultural and Creative Center, Visitor Center and Longqing Commercial Street. Horticulture Town was formerly known as Gujiaying Village, which is the first time in the history of the World Horticultural Expo that the theme of the exhibition "Green Life, Beautiful Home" is interpreted in the form of a native village.
Taihu Park covers a total area of 150 hectares, including 25 hectares of water. Due to the large water area, Taihu Park is designed to take full advantage of it, combining water resources with creative architecture. T
There are many local plants with Beijing characteristics in the Beijing Pavilion with the theme of “My courtyard”. Together with archway, hutong, countryard and red wall, it forms the block landscape of "Beijing flavor", fully reflecting the style of the ancient capital of Beijing. With the old countryard as its core, the landscape is endowed with the meaning of welcoming friends from all over the world, allowing tourists to enjoy the beauty of traditional Beijing in small courtyards.
Located on the main peak of the Flaming Mountain in Sihai Town, Jiuyanlou Watchtower, 1141 meters above sea level, is the largest hollow watchtower of Great Wall. It is the ancient military strategic fortress. Jiuyanlou Watchtower was the junction of the Great Wall of Ji Town, Chang Town and Xuan Town, and the intersection of the inner and outer Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty. It can be referred as the "Beijing Knot".
With the efforts of the construction team, the town restores the traditional village street space and reshapes the simple village style including traditional village street and courtyard space, village square activity space and neighborhood communication space, preserving the natural appearance while being more dynamic.
