Beijing Pear Orchard is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Yaojiayuan Lu (Rd) and Dong 5 Huan Lu (E 5th Ring Rd) in the Pingfang area. The park covers an area of 930 mu and was originally an ecological forest-type Fengshui pear orchard and nursery.
Upon entering Beijing Pear Orchard, the first thing that catches the eye is a large area of February orchids, spreading across the lawn and forest paths like purple clouds. Continuing forward, vast fields of rapeseed flowers surround visitors. The park's pear blossoms are also not to be missed. On Pear Blossom Square, there are six ancient pear trees with a diameter at breast height of over 40 centimeters, reaching up to seven meters tall, aged between 80 to 100 years, with the largest tree being over a hundred years old. Every spring, the trees are covered in blossoms like frost or snow, becoming the iconic landscape of Beijing Pear Orchard. When the wind blows, the pear blossoms fall gently, like a soft spring snow.
