Longfu Temple Snack Bar

In 1956, Beijing Municipal Service Bureau and Dongcheng District Service Company established Longfu Temple Snack Bar, gathering hundreds of Muslim snacks on Longfusi Street and in the whole city. You may find snacks from imperial palace such as pea cake and Aiwowo (steamed rice cakes with sweet stuffing) favoured by Empress Dowager Cixi, and local food like soybean flour cake, douzhi (mung bean milk), jiaoquan (fried ring), bean curd jelly, etc. Their unique and tasty flavours are appreciated by customers. At present, soybean flour cake, coconut Baozi, mimahua (sweet fried dough twist), tangjuanguo (glazed thin pancake with Chinese yam and jujube stuffing), sanzi fried dough twist, misandao (fried cake glazed in malt sugar), and kaikouxiao (fried sesame egg cake) in Longfu Temple Snack Bar have been named as "Famous Chinese Snacks".
