Beijing Heyuanzhixin Courtyard Hotel

Beijing Heyuanzhixin Courtyard Hotel (北京和院·致心四合院酒店), also called Heyuan, is located at No.5 Dengcao Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing. Many famous people such as Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang once lived here.

The buildings of this hotel are traditional Chinese quadrangle dwellings. It is said that this quadrangle is the only three-entry courtyard house in Beijing that has been preserved since Ming Dynasty.

Dengcao Hutong is one of the typical old alleys in Beijing. It belonged to Huanghuafang in Ming Dynasty and Xiangbaiqi in Qing Dynasty. In Ming Dynasty, there were about 630 hutong streets and alleys in capital, and only about 30 are well preserved so far, including Dengcao Hutong.

Dengcao Hutong is surrounded by well-known Beijing landmarks—Wangfujing, Tian'anmen, the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, etc.

Heyuan is classical, noble, peaceful and quiet. The original cultural memory of the courtyard is preserved to the maximum extent, and the architectural characteristics and cultural connotation of the courtyard are protected as much as possible. On this basis, modern techniques and methods are used to conserve the buildings.

Heyuan has 11 guest rooms with different locations and features. It expounds 11 different stories, covering the design ideas, garden artistic conception, life philosophy and business ideals of Heyuan.

All the furniture in Heyuan is custom-made mortise and tenon black walnut or white oak furniture, which is in perfect harmony and precise. Every detail conveys the ingenuity of traditional hand-made craftsmanship and the delicate and natural wood language.

The positioning of Heyuan is not only a hotel, but also a cultural sharing platform. Here, customers can customize tea parties, catering, and carry out activities such as literary salons, team building, conferences, training, photography, exhibitions, weddings, and Chinese cultural experiences.
