CRRC Beijing CITY (中车北京智汇港产业园)

As the core carrier of CRRC's layout for technological innovation and industrial chain leadership, CRRC Beijing CITY takes revitalizing existing assets and fostering new quality productive forces as its mission. Focusing on the development of high-precision and cutting-edge industries, it deeply serves the construction of Beijing's "Four Centers" core functions and adheres to the development philosophy of "industrial ecological chain centered on CRRC, spatial application showcasing CRRC, cultural industry rooted in CRRC, and operation platform relying on CRRC", striving to build a high-tech industrial park with both industrial strength and cultural charm.
Located in Changping, Beijing, the industrial park consists of two core sectors: Machikou Park and Nankou Park, each with distinct features and developing in coordination. The Rail Transit Popular Science Education Base in Machikou Park has established long-term in-depth cooperation with the China Railway Museum and Beijing Jiaotong University, constructing an integrated popular science system of "exhibition, learning, research, and entertainment". Equipped with professional popular science exhibition halls, research and study classrooms, experimental teaching platforms, and interactive experience venues, the base systematically presents the 140-year development context and brilliant achievements of China's railway industry. Meanwhile, the CRRC Cultural and Creative · Changming Train Model Club has been established, featuring a 20-square-meter super-large realistic train sand table. It builds a professional platform for railway industrial culture exchange, allowing industrial technology to step out of laboratories and integrate into daily life in a tangible way, helping the public feel the charm of science and technology and promote the spirit of independent innovation in science and technology.
Nankou Park, formerly the Jingzhang Manufacturing Factory founded by the famous patriotic engineer Mr. Zhan Tianyou in 1906, was an extremely important part of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway construction and witnessed the take-off and growth of China's railway industry. The existing locomotive maintenance workshop, power house, and single-girder overhead crane in the factory have been rated as the 7th batch of National Industrial Heritage by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology due to their profound industrial historical value and technological inheritance significance, becoming an important landmark for inheriting the industrial spirit and preserving the city's industrial memory.
