Pingbei Red First Village Memorial Hall

The Pingbei Red First Village Memorial Hall is located in Shatanggou Village, Dazhuangke Township, Yanqing District. In 1938, the first rural branch of the Communist Party was born in Shatanggou Village, where the Party sowed the spark of revolution.In June 2003, to inherit and promote the glorious revolutionary traditions of the older generation, Shatanggou Village held the "Pingbei Red First Village" revolutionary traditional education exhibition, which was displayed in the form of a large number of precious photos and physical objects.
In May 2013, after the reconstruction of the memorial hall, the exhibition hall was divided into two floors, with a total area of 350 square meters. The entire exhibition is divided into seven major parts in chronological order, using a large number of sculptures, pictures, and high-tech means to display the revolutionary history of the Eighth Route Army's Fourth Column, the Pingbei District Committee, and the Changyan United County Committee in opening up the "Houqi Village" and establishing the first rural branch in Shatanggou during the Anti-Japanese War, as well as the glorious deeds of many martyrs in the Dazhuangke area in their struggle against the enemy.
