The Jiangjuntuo Scenic Area (将军坨风景区), located 20 km northwest of the seat of Fangshan District in Beijing, was established in 1998 and is now an ecological scenic spot with a total area of 112 hectares. Inside it there is a vast orchard covering an area of 24.7 hectares along with a well-preserved aesthetic forest which has an area of 15 hectares.

This purely natural scenic spot is a wonderland of plants and animals and abounds in fruit trees such as apricot, peach, apple, pear, jujube, persimmon, and walnut trees. Moreover, feverfew, bupleurum, forsythia, and vast quantities of other precious Chinese medicinal plants can also be found blooming in the large grass garden. When flowers here are in their full blossom and their fragrances pervade the whole scenic spot. This static beauty contrasts finely with the amusing activities of lovely, little animals like berghaans and hares in flocks dashing here and there.

Visitors can enjoy themselves here by climbing the mountains or appreciating the flowers and taking part in the hang-gliding, bungee jumping and arrow shooting activities. Hang gliding is the most popular entertainment here. It is a physical and recreational activity which results in extreme excitement. In a nutshell, it is a "game of the brave".

what this one differs from other places is the story you haven’t never heard of.

Situated north of the Sandalwood Port Village in Hebei Township is a hill, which looks like a helmet of a general if you view it from afar. There, it was named Jiang Jun Tuo. Legends says that this helmet belongs to one of the extremely smart think-tank members of the Han Dynasty---Zhang Liang (Chinese: 张良), who escaped from the court of the late Qin Dynasty and threw his own helmet to a hill beside a river named Big Stone, and finally sneaked into a cave in the mountain here.

After this hill was developed and turned into a tourist attraction, a statue of Zhang Liang was built up on the not steep slope in front of the hill. Now you can worship him here.
