China Bookstore(中国书店)

Located in Liulichang, this famous antique street in Beijing sells traditional Chinese literature and various other works on classical Chinese paintings, calligraphy and photography. There are also numerous other topics here to be explored.

Although this book store is not as big as that of Zhongguancun’s, Xidan’s, and Wangfujing’s bookstores, it still has loyal customers because of its special characteristics. Here readers are able to search and buy those old books, second hand books and other classic works about subjects that may not be as easy to find. Moreover, this collection of books are not sold in every bookstore throughout the city.

The new books here have an additional 80% discount on the price and customers are usually out shopping for vintage books or for new books that spark their interests. So, why not spend some time here perusing the shelves yourself at your leisure. We’re sure you won’t be disappointed with all this place has to offer.
