Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground （朝阳公园沙滩排球场）

The Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground was one of 9 temporary venues used for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It was located in Chaoyang Park in Beijing. The ground was used for the beach volleyball matches.

The beach volleyball ground held 12,200 viewers for the 2008 Olympic Beach Volleyball competition. The volleyball grounds included 17,000 tons of fine sand imported from Hainan.

Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground, as a temporary Olympic venue, was known for its beautiful scenery and a 70% green land coverage. Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground covered an area of 18 hectares with 12,000 seats, comprising one main court, two warm-up courts and six training courts, During the Beijing Olympics, beach volleyball events of the highest appreciation were staged here.
