Xunjunwang Mansion(循郡王府)

Located at No. 13 and 15 at Fangjia Hutong, Andingmennei Street, Xunjunwang Mansion is the residence of Yongzhang, the third son of Emperor Qianlong. Yongzhang was canonized as Xunjunwang after his death. This mansion was built by his adopted son Jinyi according to Beile Mansion standards.

The mansion is now a protective historical site of Beijing though 5 main halls were torn down. There are a main room and wing-rooms at the backyard. The east part of the mansion is a well-preserved quadrangle courtyard including the main yard, middle yard and backyard.

Xunjunwang, named Yongzhang, is the third son of Emperor Qianlong who died young in 1760 (still a minor). He had no son so the second son of Chengqinwang – Mianyi was adopted as his son in 1776. In 1787, Mianyi inherited the honor of Beile, then built the mansion. Mianyi and his descendants had lived here until the end of the Qing dynasty.
