Beigong National Forest Park

Established in October 2002, Beigong National Forest Park was approved as a national forest park in December 2005, and was named a civilized park of Beijing Harmonious City and Countryside Tour and one of the top eight tourist scenic spots in Fengtai District in 2007, and was awarded as a national AAAA grade tourist scenic spot and a boutique park in Beijing in 2008.
The park is located in the hilly and shallow mountainous area in the northwest of Fengtai District of Beijing, featuring undulating terrain, staggered slopes and peaks, deep ravines, lush forests, mountains and waters, and birdsong and fragrant flowers. Its main peak, Wolf Slope Peak, is 349.8 meters above sea level. It is adjacent to the Garden Expo Park in the east, Qianling Mountain in the west, Space City in the south, and Jietai Temple in the north, making it a tourist destination with unique scenery.

Beijing Garden Expo Park

Beijing Garden Expo, the venue of the 9th China International Garden Expo, is located on the west bank of Yongding River in Fengtai District, Beijing. The exhibition area covers an area of 267 hectares and the Garden Expo Lake covers an area of 246 hectares, totaling 513 hectares. It is a large public welfare city park integrating garden art, cultural landscape, ecological leisure and science education.

Tanzhe Temple

Tanzhe Temple was built in the first year of Yongjia era of the Western Jin Dynasty (307 AD) and has a history of 1,700 years. The temple was first named "Jiafu Temple", and the Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty named it "Xiuyun Temple". However, because there is a dragon pond(Tan in Chinese) behind the temple and a Tsuge(Zhe in Chinese) tree on the hill, so the people have been called it "Tanzhe Temple".

Jietai Temple

Located on Ma'anshan Mountain in Beijing's Mentougou District, Jietai Tmeple was originally named Huiju Temple in the fifth year of the Wude era of the Tang Dynasty (622 AD). Later it was given the name Wanshou Zen Temple by Emperor Yingzong of the Ming Dynasty. However, because of the largest Buddhist alter was built inside the temple, it is commonly known as Jietan Temple, also called the Jietai Temple.

Beigong National Forest Park is located at No. 55, Dahuichang East Road, Changxindian Town, Fengtai District, Beijing. The park features rolling hills, lakes, lush flowers and trees. There is even a small zoo with birds of prey and bears, deer, rock sheep and monkeys.
