Juyongguan Great Wall

Juyongguan Great Wall is an important part of China's Great Wall. It has overlapping mountains, flowing streams, lush vegetation and pleasant scenery. The title of "Juyong Overlapping Greenery" in the "Eight Scenic Spots of Yanjing" in the Qing Dynasty has been passed down to now. Due to the dangerous terrain of Juyongguan Great Wall, it was called the "number one pass in the world" in ancient times.

In addition to the supporting buildings such as the North and South Quancheng, the city tower, the enemy platform, and the water gate that make up a complete and rigorous military defense system. There is also a street tower foundation built in the Yuan Dynasty in Juyongguan, named "Yuntai", which is a fine masterpiece of existing Yuan Dynasty stone carving art. "Juyongguan-Yuntai" was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1961. In 1987, China's Great Wall was listed in the World Heritage List by the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO. In 2001, Juyongguan Great Wall was rated as a "AAAA-level tourist scenic spot" by the National Tourism Administration.
