Fangjia Hutong (方家胡同)

Fangjia Hutong, located in the cultural core area of Beijing, is close to Imperial College (Guozijian) and Confucius Temple in the north, Yonghe Temple Creative Industrial Park, Poly Theatre in the east, the Capital Theatre in the south and Nanluogu Alley cultural block, the Central Academy of Drama, National Theatre Company of China and Bell and Drum Towers in the west, so it is surrounded by traditional culture in the fertile soil.
With a history of 700 years, Fangjia Hutong is an ordinary east-west hutong. What is "Fangjia"? No one knows. But it has a profound cultural background and has historical sites including Baiyi Nunnery and Prince Xun’s Mansion (the third son of the Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty).
Today, the unique Fangjia Hutong is still the epitome of the exquisite life of Beijingers.
