Xuanwuyiyuan Garden

It is located on the edge of the Second Ring Road, which is very convenient to get to. Even though the park is located in the noisy downtown, inside the park there is only tranquility and peace. The gate of the park is very unique; it is a five-bay garden gate with scenery walls and brick carvings on both sides, which is very simple and generous. On the left bank of the pond inside the park, the Mingchan Pavilion stands amidst the pines and cypresses. There is a small bridge, flowing water, swimming fishes, naughty ducks, and swans on both sides of the Yuanyang Pavilion. The Pavilion is the very example of being “tranquil and elegant.”

The park is not very large, but it is delicate with all the bricks, the architecture, the bridge, the water, and the tree. You even cannot distinguish whether you are in a Jiangnan Garden or not.
