Located in the southeast corner of the 2 Huan Lu (2nd Ring Rd), Longtan Central Park covers an area of nearly 40 hectares and is like a huge diamond in the heart of Beijing.

In the 1980s, Beijing Amusement Park, one of the first large modern amusement parks in China, was built here and was converted into a park after the amusement park ended its operation in 2010. The Ferris wheel, which carries the collective memory of the post-80s and post-90s, is preserved after reinforcement and brightening and is the memory symbol and spiritual bastion of the whole of Longtan Zhonghu Park.
