Description

National Botanical Garden (Cherry Gully)

Cherry Gully is located in the National Botanical Garden (North Garden), which is a nature reserve in Beijing. The largest Metasequoia forest in north China is planted here. Metasequoia is a rare relict plant, known as the "living fossil" in the plant world. To promote its growth, spraying devices have been installed here to create a dreamy landscape with layers of mist, earning this place the nickname "the fairyland on earth".
