Playa Maya in Beijing officially opened, offering citizens and tourists the chance to experience a nearly 7,000-square-meter wave pool, 35 water entertainment projects, and 13 amusement devices.

As dusk approached, many visitors exited from the Happy Valley Scenic Area Station on Metro Line 7 and headed straight to Beijing Playa Maya, located to the right of the Happy Valley Scenic Area. The water park was bustling with visitors, with parents and their young children enjoying the waves in the wave pool. The park features ancient totems, intricate carvings, and mysterious symbols, blending high-tech amusement projects with elements of Maya culture. "We are not just creating an artificial sea against a mountain backdrop; we are integrating the ancient and mysterious Maya culture with modern technological civilization in this combined space," stated a park representative.

At this brand-new water park, visitors can ride the country's first rapid coaster, the Water Storm Coaster, and enjoy specially designed water attractions such as the Tornado, Big Wave Board, and the exotically themed Adventure Quest. Families can delight in summer fun at the Happy Water Village and the Curious Water House, perfect for parent-child playtime. Additionally, visitors can immerse themselves in the panoramic light and shadow show "Extraordinary Future," which combines naked-eye 3D, fire effects, and lighting for a spectacular audio-visual experience.

Additionally, the park offers nine major water experience zones for visitors to explore. The nearly 10,000 square meter "Maya Beach" is a highlight, where the sound of waves and the view of the city beach against the backdrop of mountains and the setting sun create a picturesque scene. The infinity pool allows guests to unwind and enjoy blissful moments, while the 400-meter "Jungle Secret" rafting adventure offers ten themed stops along the way, making the journey both fun and interesting. The park also features six large water cannons that cover the entire beach, creating a special "rainbow moment" through sunlight.

The first Playa Maya opened in Shenzhen in 1998, and Beijing is the latest addition to the "Maya Beach" brand portfolio.
