Bianyifang

Bianyifang is a famous Time-Honored Brand restaurant in Beijing featuring roast duck. Established in the fourteenth year of the reign of Zhu Di in the Ming Dynasty, it now has a history of 604 years. The name, Bianyifang, connotes its business philosophy of "convenient for the people, suitable for the family". Bianyifang has formed its characteristics of dishes with roast duck in the stew oven as the main dish and Shandong cuisine as the basis. The roast duck is crispy outside and tender inside, and its taste enjoys a good reputation. Since its roast duck is made in the stew oven and therefore fire can not be seen in the process of making roast duck, the roast duck in Bianyifang is called green roast duck.
