Later, when the Qing Dynasty started to decline, those masters went out the palace and tried to make a living in other places. Tong Xing He which specializes in making wooden furniture were found in 1835. As a time-honored brand, it has received a great popularity among high officials and noble lords with its fine skills and exquisite techniques.

As an important part of Chinese traditional culture, Chinese classic furniture enjoys a high reputation among the world with its unique style and exquisite manufacturing techniques. Since 2012, Tong Xing He has helped to restore hundreds pieces of wooden furniture, products and plaques of the Imperial Palace, making those traditional handiworks reappear to the public.
