Yili

At the beginning of 1950s, common citizens in Beijing only had steamed bun, sesame seed cake and baked wheaten cake as their breakfast, and western bread could only be available of wealthy people.

Yili was founded in 1906, and is an excellent time-honored brand. 1906, British business man James founded Yili in Shanghai, later it relocated to Beijing in 1951 and gradually became one of key enterprises in China’s food industry.
