Xianrenyu (Immortal Valley)

Xianrenyu (Immortal Valley), located in 17 km west of Laiyuan County, is a limestone landform grand canyon with two mountains standing on each side and one line leading through. In summer, the valley is full of wild flowers with unique environment and landscape, and sometimes clouds wind around. It is said to be a place where immortals practice in seclusion, so it is called Immortal Valley.

The canyon is deep and tortuous, with strange peaks and cliffs on both sides, rugged rocks, wide and narrow valleys, flowing water, pines and cypresses. The main landscapes are Immortal Caves, Thousands of Buddha Walls, Five Steps to the Sky, Bluestone Roadways, Holy Water Springs, Dragon Girls' Stone, Dengti (Climbing Ladder) Waterfall, and Dengti (Climbing Ladder) Temple, etc.

Xianrenyu consists of three valleys with a total length of 20 km, which are divided into two scenic areas: Xianrenyu (Immortal Valley) and Huluyu (Gourd Valley). In Xianrenyu, there are many caves, cliffs, and streams.
