National Maritime Museum of China is located in the new eco-city of Tianjin Binhai New Area, covering an area of 15 hectares with 80,000 square meters of architecture and 23,000 square meters of exhibition.
The main building of the museum has three floors, surrounding the theme of Ocean and Human and being divided into three sections including marine civilization, marine nature and marine ecology. The museum contains 15 exhibition halls and other public service facilities like restaurant, café and cinema.
