Shijiazhuang Zoo

Shijiazhuang Zoo is located in Quanlu District, Hebei Province, 17.5 kilometers away from the downtown of Shijiazhuang and has a quite convenient transport.

The zoo covers an area of 4000 mu with animal exhibitions around 2000 mu. Taking Fengying Mountain as the background, the zoo combines natural landscape and artificial architectures, resulting in the effect of “made by human, but seems natural”. Following the terrain, the zoo is divided into three scenic areas: plain, valley and platform. The plain area has most buildings; the scenery of the valley area forms a feature of the zoo, and the platform area, taking advantage of current hillsides and platforms, provides the habitat for the wildlife. Free-ranging animals and accessible viewing mode fully demonstrate the concept of an international zoo: making the zoo a happy home for animals.

The zoo contains nearly 250 species of rare animals including panda, Phoenicopteridae, Rhinopithecus, Elephas maximus Linnaeus and Pan troglodytes, etc., and according to their features provides corresponding facilities and services.
