Saihanba National Forest Park

Saihanba National Forest Park in Chengdeba, Hebei Province, covers a total area of 230,600 acres, including 181,200 million acres of forest landscape and 32,900 acres of grassland landscape, with a forest coverage rate of 80%, making it the largest plantation forest park in China.

Located on the plateau, it has long been a royal hunting garden of the Qing Dynasty, which has made it a unique natural and cultural landscape. It boasts vast forests, vast grasslands, clear plateau lakes and many Qing Dynasty historical sites. The weather is cool in summer, the air is fresh, and the average temperature is around 25°C.

The park now has 71,000 hectares of landscape forest, as well as vast grasslands and galloping horses. Overlooking the whole park, the vast forest is staggered with the undulating terrain, which is majestic. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the scenery is beautiful and picturesque.

Yudaokou Grassland Forest Scenic Area

Yudaokou Grassland Forest Scenic Area is located in the Mulan Paddock area of Chengde City, with a total area of 1,000 square kilometers and an altitude of 1230 meters to 1820 meters. There are 115,300 acres of primeval grassland, 32,900 acres of wetlands, 82,400 acres of natural secondary forests, 21 natural freshwater lakes, 47 springs and 13 rivers in the scenic area, which is one of the origins of the Luan River.
