China House is located at No. 72 Chifeng Road in the Heping District of Tianjin. Originally a century-old French-style mansion and the former residence of diplomat Huang Rongliang, it was redesigned and renovated by antique collector Zhang Lianzhi. Upon entering China House, you will be amazed by its exquisite interior details.
A massive porcelain dragon, 768 meters long and 0.8 meters wide, coils around the roof of China House. Its head and tail are not visible, creating a grand and imposing sight. Extending from the entrance to the top of the house, the dragon quietly guards this glittering treasure, lying in wait for the day it will rise.
China House is not only extraordinarily beautiful on the outside but also rich in interior attractions. Its highlights include the Peace Wall, Porcelain Dragon, Octagonal Lotus Tower, Porcelain Lions, and numerous calligraphy and paintings by famous figures. From walls to ceilings, from floors to stairs, every corner is filled with the gloss and colors of porcelain. The textures and sheens of these porcelain pieces complement each other, creating an atmosphere that is both ancient and luxurious.
In the living room of China House, sofas and coffee tables are adorned with ceramic tile decorations, while the kitchen features porcelain tableware and utensils. Even the bathroom is decorated with porcelain tiles, creating a fairy tale-like atmosphere.
