As an architectural relic witnessing China's modern history, its identity has changed several times, from the Belgian Embassy in China, to the No. 14 State Guesthouse after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and then officially renamed Zijin Hotel in 1986, which has a history of more than a century so far. Nowadays, it is not only the fifth batch of national major historical and cultural sites, but also becomes the unique cultural heritage of Beijing.
