You can enjoy them in the little enoteca off of Nanluoguxiang, which boasts a beautiful rooftop and Republican Era antique furniture. A limited food menu is also available. Located off the main alley/street of Nanluoguxiang, this small store is down North Bingmasi Hutong behind the theater. Walk down the hutong until you think you've gone too far, and then walk a little further. Ring the door bell and someone will let you in. Mr. Price, the owner, was not there when I visited, but it was fun to walk around and stare at the collection of wines nonetheless. The store also has a nice rooftop area to enjoy a bottle of wine.
There is a 15% discount for buying the bottle and walking away with it, but it’s worth the extra money to sit and enjoy a glass in silence. There is no food, but with Nanluoguxiang so close there is no need either. Cambulac's enoteca, spread over two rooms in a small courtyard, focuses on Italian wines, mostly from small wineries. The store’s wine is picked by a sommelier based in Italy, and there are currently 50 labels, with an average price of 250 RMB. Its tasteful décor, antique furniture (all of which is for sale) and rooftop drinking area make Cambulac a great escape from the bustle of Nanluoguxiang.
