CAFA Art Museum

The new gallery of Central Academy of Fine Arts is the first design work of a world-class design master in China. The exterior is like a three-dimensional "boomerang", and the interior is like a staggered "black and white space". In addition to domestic and international masterpieces, there are three ways to visit. It is also a good place to take photos while experiencing the masterpieces.

It is the first architectural work of Arata Isozaki in China. The total area of the art museum is 14,777 square meters, with an exhibition area of over 6,000 square meters. The exterior wall of the gallery is in harmony with the color palette of other buildings on campus, and is rich in variation despite its unity.

The gallery is located in a curved site, the shape of stone curtain wall and roof curve transition to form a shell, like a three-dimensional boomerang. The large area of glass curtain at the entrance and exit increases the permeability of the building, and also provides good lighting.
