Liyuan Book House

Surrounded by scenic spots such as Mutianyu Great Wall, Jiankou Great Wall, and Shentangyu, Jiaojiehe Village is home to Liyuan Book House, which was once listed as one of the "world's most beautiful libraries". After a visit by Professor Li Xiaodong from the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University, the book house was donated to this somewhat secluded paradise by various parties, and it is maintained by villagers and volunteers together.

Located deep in the mountains, Liyuan Book House is nurtured by clear water, and a serene ambiance permeates the courtyard. The interplay of sunlight and the lattice fence casts dancing shadows on the book tables. Gentle breezes flow through the hall, birds chirp softly, and the trickling stream creates a natural white noise that accompanies the turning of pages, allowing readers to enter a state of natural inspiration and flow.
