The bookstore building is a steel frame structure built in the 1970s, with a history of more than 40 years. Today, when you walk into Yuewen Bookstore, you can still see the steel frame components of the building and the mottled red brick walls. It embodies the wisdom and hardwork of several generations of Shougang people, and you can feel the Shougang spirit and cultural heritage of the older generation of Shougang people here.

Lectures and talks are the highlights of Yuewen Bookstore. It often holds reading sharing sessions, cultural lectures, and other activities, truly bringing the words in books to life and penetrating into people's lives in a more flexible way.
