Memorial: "There would be no New China without the Chinese Communist Party" (没有共产党就没有新中国纪念馆)

There goes a famous song which praises the Chinese Communist Party for its greatest contributions to New China. The song is still sung today by many people because of its inspiring melody and historical significance. The name of this song is "There Would Be No New China without the Chinese Communist Party".

This memorial is located in the Xiayunling Forest Park, Fangshan District, where the song was created by musician Cao Huoxing in 1943. The historical site, Xiayunling, used to be part of the Pingxi Anti-Japanese base.

Features: The memorial covers about 6,000 square meters, of which the exhibition hall covers over 1,800 square meters and the "great stage" about 4,000 square meters. Within the memorial visitors can see over 800 pictures and dozens of reliefs, wax sculptures and stone sculptures. In 2003, the Memorial for "There Would Be No New China without the Chinese Communist Party" was appointed as the "base for patriotic education."
