China National Museum of Women and Children (中国妇女儿童博物馆)

Covering an area of 35,000 square meters, the China National Museum ofWomen and Children is located in the north side of East Chang'an Avenue. It is the first national museum on the social changes concerning women and children.

The museum contains nearly 30,000 exhibits depicting ancient, modern and contemporary women, celebrating international friendship and women's art, and showing changes and contrasts through the ages in women's apparel. Museum exhibits also include children in ancient, modern and contemporary times, their toys and pastimes.

The China National Museum of Women and Childrenis subordinate to the All-China Women's Federation integrates collection, exhibition, research, education and culture exchange. It set up 6 permanent exhibitions and 5 special exhibitions.
