Song Art Museum

Song Art Museum is full of artistic taste. When walking along the avenue, you will see the tranquil Wenyu River surrounded by luxuriant trees, and a white wall isolating the noises from the city. Coming through the door, you will immediately see a grassy lawn connecting to the sky, tall pine tress standing between those pure white buildings. Once you’re here, you can have a feeling of calmness.

Surrounded by pine trees and characterized by elegance and simplicity, Song Art Museum is regarded as “the most beautiful private art museum” and also a cultural landmark in Beijing.

Song Art Museum covers more than 22,000 square meters. It has a gallery with 2,200 square meters and 199 pine trees sporadically planted there. The pine trees are also works of art, full of insights into the nature and demonstrating a shape that has changed with time.

In terms of its functional design, Song Art Museum is not closed but open and public. There are river-view restaurant, public landscape courtyard, concert hall, cafe, artwork shop on the two floors above the ground. Exhibition hall for children, library, art restoration room, bookstores are on the basemen one. There is a parking lot with more than 300 parking spaces on the basement two. These aspects make art no longer far away from ordinary people.
