With a display area of over 1,000 square meters, the center has undergone renovation while preserving the unique spatial layout of industrial heritage. It serves as the world’s first cultural heritage-themed digital exhibition center transformed from industrial heritage. RE Center presents a fresh charm of cultural heritage from a contemporary perspective and showcases new trends in cultural life through an open perspective, diverse experiences, and a unique sense of space. Since its opening, the center has launched a series of immersive exhibitions on significant Chinese cultural heritage, including “Return: Garden of Gardens”, “Discover: Central Axis of Beijing”, “More Than: Steel”, “Re Olympia”, and “Parallel Space: Meet the Terracotta Warriors in Greece”, among others.
The museum showcases over 600 exhibits spanning nearly 200 years, presenting classic pocket watches, wristwatches, and clocks produced by top watch factories and independent watchmakers from around the world since 1830. In addition, there are novelty foreign goods and antique collections to fill the gap beyond timepieces, allowing art to integrate into daily life.
