It features six sections, including "Old Beijing Sound Life" and "Canal Boatmen's Chant".
The "Old Beijing Sound Life" hall boasts over 40 sounds recorded over a decade, like bird chirps, pigeon whistles and vendor calls, reviving nostalgic alley vibes. Also on display are 22 Tongzhou canal boatmen's chants with bold, stirring melodies. High-tech experiences let visitors listen to plant "breathing" and Weddell seals' underwater songs.
