Shijingshan District Stone Carving Relics Park

The park is where the Tomb of Eunuch Tian Yi is located, which the only well-preserved eunuch tomb of Ming Dynasty, and known for its exquisite stone carvings. There are a lot of precious, exquisite tomb stone carvings and stone-carved relics of high artistic and aesthetic value. The stone carvings on the pedestal of the East Stele Pavilion are particularly exquisite, depicting a vivid scene of “the mantis catching cicadas”, with the veins on the thin wings of cicada clearly visible. The stone carvings of historical figures capture their unique character. Su Wu is tough and determined. Liu Hai is lovely and full of energy. Mi Fu is free and proud. There are also many stone carvings of auspicious images such as deer, pines, tortoises, monkeys, dragons, coral, fish and reef.
